The Inbreds – Kombinator

September 6, 2016 in releases

The first proper studio album from beloved drum and bass duo The Inbreds, this is the album that took them from Kingston to the national stage.

‘Kombinator’ became an indie fave across the country and reached number one on the Canadian national university charts while also being nominated for a Juno Award in 1996 for Best Alternative Album and a MuchMusic Video Award nomination for Best Alternative Video for  the single “Any Sense of Time”.

The album did receive a small vinyl pressing for the US market when it came out that never made it to Canada and has been out of print and hard to find ever since.  We’re very pleased to be reissuing this classic slice of Canadian indie rock available on vinyl again to a new generation of fans. Mastered for vinyl release at Toronto’s Lacquer Channel, pressed on heavyweight vinyl over at Canada Boy Vinyl with deluxe packaging and new liner notes courtesy of music journalist and radio personality Vish Khanna, this is a limited edition of 300 copies, so grab yours soon!
